BARRE

Barre is a 60 minute, open level method of fitness and strength training that encourages length and flexibility while getting stronger. Originally created in the 1950's by German dancer Lotte Berk, Barre has taken on many varying forms and has since evolved and been perfected by her disciples. The class incorporates Yoga, Pilates, free weights, stretch and a hint of traditional Ballet. Unlike traditional workouts, Barre pushes the body to its threshold while fighting to maintain proper alignment and freeing the joints from additional stress. Barre is a challenging, results oriented, core based workout set to great music and will have you looking and feeling stronger while avoiding injury.

 
 

PIVOTAL Intro to AIReal Yoga

Using the aerial hammock as a prop will allow you to deepen your stretch, correct your alignment and safely perform inversions without compressing your spine or neck. The hammock is an amazing tool you can use for balance or getting into postures you may never have thought you could. It helps you to relax and breathe out tension and stress while increasing your circulation and metabolism. You will leave this 60 minute class feeling rejuvenated and alive. This new form of yoga is suitable and beneficial for all levels.

The next level up from Intro to AIReal Yoga, progressing further in poses. Ages 14 and up. 1-2 Intro classes required prior to taking this class.
